August’s sales ranged from $1 million up to $5.780 million, primarily in the Gold Coast, Lincoln Park and Lakeview, which are some of Chicago’s most sought-after neighborhoods that have continued to experience sales despite what much of the Chicago real estate market is experiencing as a whole.
Location in Chicago Luxury Real Estate
Just like previous summer months, the top luxury real estate sales all had one thing in common: the proverbial location, location, location. The top six properties in August’s luxury sales each were located on one of Chicago’s most coveted locations, on some of the most elegant blocks in the city. Even though many of these luxury properties have the luxury price tag to show for it, buyers did also experience spectacular deals in these purchases.
